Qatar's Gift to Trump

Trump is worth $4.3 billion and is #319 on the Forbes Magazine ranking of the richest. That a guy with that much money is already so corrupt — and is still so corruptible, so morally vacant — and so greedy, is hardly a stunner. The office of the 47th president, and his family, are focused on  deals, mega-deals and, um, Mecca-deals.

Which brings us to his new toy, a used 747 aircraft, gifted by Qatar after extensive negotiations; it may be loaded with bugs, both animal and spy. He will bill the inside-out renovations, debugging, retrofitting, modernization, upkeep and flight to the Department of Defense, i.e., the rest of us — and thence to the presidential library. His chutzpah is beyond the pale; no other president has even come close.

We are so inured to Trump’s hi-and-low-jinks that the next outrage to come along will just be another story that numbs. At the moment, he is trying to tush-push the ”big beautiful bill” that provides unneeded tax relief to the uber-wealthy and screws the poor. It passed in the House by one vote and now pends in the Senate. The outcome of the bill in its present form is uncertain.

Reneging on his vow to be a one-term president, and egged on by Jill and staff, Biden refused to step aside until it was too late. He doomed the Harris campaign and he gave us Trump. Original Sin, the new Tapper/Thompson book, lays bare Biden’s growing enfeeblement. Is his Stage 4 prostate cancer a previously undiagnosed factor in his decline as well?

He had not taken the simple PSA antigen test for 11 years and at his age now, it is not generally administered. However, as part of a regular exam, the White House doctors maybe flubbed it big time by not routinely including that test in his blood work-up. Or did they? Prostate cancer in older men can be slow-growing until it isn’t. Who knew what, when?

Jill Biden and Joe Biden’s advisors’ role in shielding the president’s cognitive decline and physical condition is similar to that of President Woodrow Wilson’s incapacitation. Edith Wilson, his second wife, essentially ran the  country on the sneak. The press termed her the first woman president.

Biden still insists he could have/would have defeated Trump. Really? Trump’s base stuck with him. The Democrats lost theirs.

Trump emptied the clown car and the clowns are running the circus.
