The Three Stooges

The GOP’s current front runners seeking the Presidency are Pete & JD who are at it; Marco looks to be having a b.m.

JD has the charisma of a brick. Rubio might not turn out a robust Hispanic vote — even in Florida — because he will be hurt nationwide by the ICE focus on

arresting Latinos. Of the three, he is the only one temperamentally competent to seek the office.

Hesgeth is more deranged, sinister and nastier even than DJT; plus, he lacks Trump’s curb appeal and savvy despite all of his years at Fox News. It seems clear that he is loathed by the Pentagon brass,  which is because he’s fired so many senior grade officers. For sure, he does not know how to run a war. The Secretary of the Army has walked off the job.  Hesgeth also has a problem promoting competent women and minority officers. He has gone out of his way to fire senior men and women of color, or has gone against the recommendations of promotion boards.

His other problem is testosterone. His. Yours. As Christopher Wiggins wrote in The Advocate on September 3rd, “The Pentagon spent nearly two months devising instructions to put Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s 'High-T' military into practice. The instructions lasted less than a day. On Wednesday, the Defense Department published detailed clinical guidance for Hegseth’s mandate to screen service members for testosterone deficiencies. … By Thursday, the document and an accompanying statement had vanished from the Pentagon’s website.”

Must be his testosterone kicking in. High levels can lead to side effects such as acne, increased aggression, mood swings, infertility, and prostate enlargement. Additionally, Dr. Google says it may cause heart problems and liver issues. However, it does not yet seem to affect wavy dark hair, red-white-and blue lapel hankies, the tight cut of his suits or one-armed push-ups.

In addition to testosterone, there’s the cortisol level that isn’t mentioned much. Yet it’s the main stress hormone made by the small adrenal glands on top of your kidneys. It helps control inflammation, blood pressure, blood sugar, and your sleep/wake cycle.

Listen up, Pete: As cortisol rises with age and modern lifestyles, your testosterone may go bye-bye.

JD Vance? A lapsed hillbilly, ex-California financier with intellectual pretensions. That said, he just doesn’t connect with people. He’s awkward at best. Picture him eating hot dogs at Katz’s. Won’t work: extended pinkie; gets mustard in his beard. He recently addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition and if The New York Times coverage got it right, he didn’t exactly fire up the room. He was received skeptically by wealthy conservative Republican Jews; if he can’t win over that crowd, he’s burnt toast.

Even JD's nastiness is standoffish; he doesn’t seem convinced of his own utterances -- for good reason. The Trump boot-licking won’t matter much. Trump has effectively lost the on-again-off again war that he alone instigated against Iran, stimulating inflation, pump panic and mounting affordability anxiety. The Dems could take both houses of Congress; more likely according to the whisperers it will just be the House.

Moe, Larry and Curly were hilarious. But not these three.
